Santi Giovanni e Paolo

Romanesque church in an ancient Roman house

The Church of the Saints John and Paul was built in the 4th Century in a Roman house. The foundations of the Roman predecessor construction are still visible in the façade. In the house itself, whose entrance is at the entrance path, beautiful frescoes dating from the 2nd to the 4th Century can be admired. The towering campanile with its reddish tint dates from the 12th Century. The interior of the church was renovated in the 18th Century.
