Late Roman villa with mosaics

On the country road between Noto and Pachino you will reach the little hidden Villa del Tellaro on the right side. The late Roman villa from the 4th Century A.D. is, like the Villa del Casale in Piazza Armerina, decorated with beautiful mosaics. Although the villa is quite a bit smaller than the Villa Casale, it is worth visiting anyway. The previously uncovered mosaics of the Villa del Tellaro show mythological scenes and hunting motifs.
