The western shore of Lake Garda
From Riva del Garda to Sirmione
Similar to the eastern shore, the western shore of Lake Garda is also dominated by mountain ranges – especially in the north. At the height of the Gardone Riviera, the Riviera del Brescia begins and thus the plain. It is therefore hardly surprising that you will find many hikers and bikers in the northern part of Lake Garda. Even tennis players can find a suitable refuge on the high plateaus of Tignale and Termòsine. Culturally and historically the west bank also has a lot to offer. In addition to the tourist strongholds Riva del Garda and Sirmione, smaller towns such as Limone, Toscolano-Maderno, Salò and Moniga del Garda are also worth a visit.
