Fassa Valley Ski Area

Skiing in Val di Fassa

Nine great skiing resorts form the ski area Val di Fassa: Alpe di Lusia, Passo San Pellegrino, Falcade, Rosengarten, Nova Levante-Carezza, Buffaure, Col Rodella, Belvedere, Ciampac and Marmolada. The Fassa Valley is therefore not only the largest ski area in the composite of the Dolomiti Superski, but also one of the most interesting. 223 kilometres of slopes of various difficulty levels and 84 modern lifts speak for themselves. In the event that the ski areas are not already directly connected by lifts, free ski buses operate at regular intervals, transporting skiers between the ski areas. This is certainly a special skiing highlight of the Dolomites that is definitely worth experiencing.

The Val di Fassa ski area also forms a significant part of the famous Sella Ronda – the circle around the Sella massif on skis. Either clockwise or counter-clockwise you can circle around the imposing mountain in one day without taking off your skis at all – a truly unique experience! This excellent location also sports high prices – they know how unique this ski area is. Nevertheless, you should not miss one or two day’s skiing in the Fassa Valley – it is really worth it!

The merger of the Ladin ski resorts around the Sella also allows for the use of the ski slopes of the Val Badia and the Val Gardena valleys. Thus 500 kilometres of slopes and 200 lifts are available – not to mention all of the surrounding ski resorts – more than you can use on a single holiday.
