Beautiful main square in Enna

The Piazza Vittorio Emanuele is the main square of the provincial capital of Enna. Directly on the piazza is the church of San Francesco with its beautiful campanile from the 15th Century. From the adjacent Piazza F. Crispi, which connects directly to the north, you have a fantastic view of Calascibetta, the Madonie National Park and Mount Etna. On the park-like piazza stands a fountain with a replica of Bernini's "Rape of Proserpine" (Rape of Persephone).
