Travelling in Italy
Travel Preparations for your Trip to Italy
Before you start your trip, a number of travel preparations should be made. Arrival, hotel and destination must be coordinated and the mode of transportation in Italy should be chosen with care. The most convenient means of travel is of course the car, but normally with public transportation, you can also reach even the smallest village. At any rate, you should not miss the culinary delicacies of Italy, which vary from region to region and are a true highlight at every trip to Italy.
On the way in Italy
No matter whether hiking in South Tyrol or the Dolomites, a relaxing beach holiday in Ischia, Caorle or at the Sardines, or a culture and city trip to Florence, Rome or Venice – in Italy everybody finds their destination. Extended 8.600 kilometres along the coast, cultural and historic significant cities and impressive mountain areas guarantee a comprehensive program for the visitors. But travelling in Italy should be planned with care – starting with the arrival, to the accommodation and the mode of on-site transportation, a number of thoughts should be made in advance. Besides airplanes and a steady location, the car and organised bus tours offer perfect comfort. Independently from public transportation, all travel destinations can be reached easily and uncomplicated. But also public transport ride up to the smallest mountain village by now – nevertheless, the time you are able to return may remain open.
Culinary travelling in Italy
The delight of the Italian cuisine must not be missed in any case. The plate is filled up with pizza, pasta of all sorts you can think of, seafood, fruits and cheese and pleases the eye of every traveller. And do not forget the superb wine, which can be relished with the meal or in the evening at the terrace on the coast. Travelling in Italy without tasting the Italian cuisine extensively will therefore be a sin. Also no fear of unusual dishes – so far we were hardly ever disappointed. Of course eating and travelling in Italy is by far no longer as cheap as it has been in former times, but aside from the highly frequented tourist routes, even in Venice or Rome it is possible to find a nice premise with excellent cuisine at moderate prices.
