Collection and use of data
General
The protection of personal data that users make available to ZAINOO and that is not otherwise publicly available is very important to ZAINOO. Personal data is data that refers to user’s identity such as name, address and phone number. ZAINOO ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws and guidelines.
ZAINOO adheres to the principle of avoiding collection and reception of personal data as far as possible. Personal data and sensitive data such as bank account numbers and related information is transmitted encoded via SSL-Technology (at least 128 Bit.)
ZAINOO draws attention to the fact that personal and also sensitive data that users make available to ZAINOO will only be used as far as indispensable for establishment, organization, maintenance and also modification and termination of the respective contractual relationship. This includes collection, storage and processing. So in particular personal and also sensitive data is generally only collected, stored and processed as far and as long it is necessary to fulfil user requests.
Furthermore ZAINOO collects data about user transactions with ZAINOO. This includes automatic collection, storage and processing of such data in log files from the browser of any user. This usually includes the browser type that is used, the IP- address and the date and time of day. Such data is needed to provide the service and is furthermore solely used for statistics. Personal data and such data are not brought together.
In any other case ZAINOO will only forward personal data if stipulated by law, governmental request or court decision. This especially includes criminal prosecution. Furthermore, in case it is necessary to establish and/or exercise legal rights or/and defend against legal claims. Finally in case it is necessary to prevent or stop abusive or illegal use of ZAINOO`s Services and these web pages, in particular violation of the Terms of Service.
In case a special consent of the user for collection, storage or processing/usage of personal data was given, this consent can be revoked under privacy@zainoo.com. The reception of the newsletter may be cancelled online or under privacy@zainoo.com.
ZAINOO does not use personal and further data to customize advertising.
By making available personal data to ZAINOO the user is consenting with this data protection policy. The user particularly consents to his member name and his pseudonym being made available, in case he has given a travel report or uploaded a picture also to his travel reports and pictures being made available to other users of these web pages.
A user may apply for insight in his personal data that is stored on the server of ZAINOO under privacy@zainoo.com. In general this is allowed free of charge.
Personally Identifiable Information
When you sign up for a ZAINOO Account or promotion that requires registration, ZAINOO asks you for personal information (such as your name, email address and an account password). ZAINOO is allowed to combine the information you submit under your account with information from other services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, ZAINOO may give you the opportunity to opt out of combining such information. Furthermore:
User communication - ZAINOO may use your personally identifiable information to confirm your registration with the Sites or to confirm a purchase or other transaction through the Sites, to e-mail you important information regarding the Sites, or to inform you of changes to this privacy policy or our Terms of Service. ZAINOO and/or its third-party service providers collect non-personally identifiable information, which does not identify you when you interact with the Sites. Information about your Contacts
In order to invite others to connect with you directly in ZAINOO, you will enter their names and email addresses. This information will be used by ZAINOO to send your invitation including a message that you write. The names and email addresses of people that you invite will be used only to send your invitation and reminders.
All information that you enter or upload about your contacts will be covered by the same terms of this privacy policy as your own personally identifiable information.
Because non-personally identifiable information does not identify you, ZAINOO reserves the right to use it for any purpose, and to share it with third parties for any purpose.
FORUMS AND OTHER PUBLIC POSTING AREAS
Please note that any information you include in a message you post to any forum or other public posting area is available to anyone with Internet access. If you don't want people to know your e-mail address, for example, don't include it in any message you post publicly. We urge you to exercise discretion and caution when deciding to disclose your personally identifiable information, or any other information, in any forum or other public posting area.
